Atelier di Dolce was born from a simple yet powerful idea: bringing the sense of wonder found in life’s sweetest moments into the spaces we inhabit. Much like a perfectly crafted dessert, light has the ability to transform a room — making it warmer, more inviting, and unforgettable.

My name is Antonio, founder of Atelier di Dolce. I have always been passionate about the intersection of technology and creativity, and in 3D printing I discovered the ideal medium for turning vision into tangible objects. My love for interior design taught me that every detail should tell a story, while my natural curiosity for innovation continues to guide me toward new materials, refined processes, and forward-thinking design.

This project took shape through the collaboration with designer SoDrto move beyond the traditional concept of lighting and create true luminous sculptures.
Together, we imagined a collection inspired by the world of gelato and fine pastry — soft textures, enveloping volumes, and playful geometries — all reinterpreted through a contemporary, minimalist lens.

Each Atelier di Dolce lamp is produced using advanced 3D printing technology and PLA, a biopolymer derived from renewable plant resources such as corn fiber. This choice reflects our philosophy: combining aesthetics with responsibility. PLA allows us to achieve exceptional precision, durability, and a surprisingly refined tactile quality while maintaining a lower environmental impact.

We believe in a more conscious approach to production — one that minimizes waste and steps away from mass manufacturing. Every piece is carefully designed, tested, refined, and produced in small batches. Rather than chasing trends, our goal is to create objects meant to endure, becoming a distinctive part of the spaces they illuminate.

Atelier di Dolce is where digital craftsmanship meets imagination — a laboratory where technology does not replace creativity, but elevates it layer by layer, transforming ideas into light.
